Do your client testimonials actually help get new clients?
I kept running into the same problem over and over while building landing pages and running ads:
Clients would happily say things like “Great experience, highly recommend” but that kind of testimonial doesn’t actually explain why someone should hire you.
Most small businesses technically have testimonials… they’re just vague, and not very useful for converting visitors.
So I started building something called Testifolio. Instead of asking people to “leave a review,” it walks them through a few thoughtful prompts that help them reflect on:
– what problem they had
– what changed
– and why it mattered
The goal isn’t to fake or inflate anything, it just helps people express what they already feel in a clearer, more specific way.
After that, it turns their words into clean, ready-to-use testimonial visuals (kind of like Canva templates for social proof).
I’m opening a small waitlist while I finish building it and get feedback from real users:

If you’ve ever struggled with getting useful testimonials, I’d love to hear how you handle it right now.
