Series 13: Anyone else feel weird about Ardal O’Hanlon?

Currently watching series 13 for the first time. A few episodes in and one thing I’ve noticed about Ardal is that he ALWAYS comments or nitpicks Judie or Sophie. He sometimes does it to the other contestants, but it feels like every single task he picks on the two black women. I’m not saying he is like coming off as an inherent racist, but maybe more systemic racism or something. It’s just weird to me and kinda off putting and I’ve never felt this way about any other contestant before. I understand The show is edited quite a bit so it’s possible he takes pot shots at everybody all the time and they are just not showing it, but both my partner and I noticed it and it’s pretty off putting and weird. I haven’t seen his comedy before, so maybe he is playing a character. Hoping some people can share some insights on this / if they felt the same at the beginning of the series.
