Resources/day programs for adults with Down’s Syndrome?

Hi, my best friend (who just recently moved to the United States) has a brother with Down’s Syndrome and just reached the age where he is unable to attend high school anymore. I don’t know much about programs and her family doesn’t really speak English so I wanted to help out by researching possible programs so he doesn’t have to stay home all day. Preferably low cost or some kind of financial support available. Any advice helps, thank you!
