I feel like a lost cause

I had a pain management appointment today, and talked with my doctor about how my daily pain is better managed but I'm still having very severe flares and going to have some more flares due to taking tolerance breaks of one of my medications every so often. I expressed that I have been feeling frustrated and stuck because he wants me to stay out of the emergency room but felt that it didnt feel like I had an appropriate plan in place to help me stay out. I told him I called his office a couple times to try and get in during my flares and was just told to go to the emergency room. So I asked if there was any other medications to try as needed for the severe flares, any other treatment besides medication or if it was possible to take my morphine 3 times a day during my flares and I was told no for all of it. He didnt feel comfortable prescribing anything else as needed cause hes already "uncomfortable" with me taking morphine cause I'm too young. He said there was no way to write for me to take 3 during a flare without running out early. I'm scheduled to have a bilateral nerve block done but this has only given me temporary relief for a month. I'm so tired of being told I'm out of options, it's so hard to hear and makes me feel like I'm completely broken and a lost cause.
