England: Quietest, most subtle way to leave my city and start a new life without causing any legal problems.

Basically, I have the idea that I want to go 'missing' as I'm not doing too great at the moment and this city isn't doing me any good. I'm embarrassed of failing at uni and would like a quiet, clean exit should I need it.

What should I avoid doing that could possibly stir up legal ramifications for leaving? I plan on moving back in my parents from my hometown where my uni is, they moved to a completely separate area since I started.

This involves address changes, any benefit notifications, my planned name change, you get the idea.

I just want out and nobody to know where I went, like I just vanished into thin air, poof, but legally.
