Supp exams and pets

I know the website says to lock any pets out of the room, but am I going to have any trouble with pets in the background during supervised off campus exams? I’ve got a really clingy cat and she’ll cry the entire time outside my door if she’s not with me which I’m worried would be distracting. The exam is open access if that matters.
