Are there any 1.6 friendly custom music mods?

I'm making a Monster High-themed playthrough for myself. I've been playing Stardew for two months. My girlfriend taught me how to add mods to my game last month. I'm not talented enough to make a mod myself but I've compiled nearly 60 to make my world look and feel like it takes place in the Monster High universe. I was really excited for the Custom Music mod then I saw it didn't work for 1.6 and it makes me really sad because the immersion is *almost there*. I'd love to find another one like this that I can use. If there isn't I have a question since I don't know how to code: since this playthrough is just for myself and I wouldn't be making it available for anyone else to use, would it be unethical to just download any random music replacer and replace those music files with my own? It wouldn't be claiming anyone's work as my own because I wouldn't EVER publish the replacements as some new mod or something like that... I'm really scared to ask this
