Is Jayce worth learning?

As the title says im wondering if Jayce is worth learning. The thing is I find him really fun, but hes quite hard to play even with a lead. Thus I can carry games that well since he mostley functions on team fighting.

So my question is should I try to learn him or are other hard champs like Fiora/Riven more worth my time? Or should I say screw hard champs and stick to tanks/a garen/trynda?
