Help with next step

Hello

Getting straight to the point. I want to know what’s the best next step for me to make progress.

My goal right now is to land an agency but the problem is I don’t have much. I have 3 acting classes I’ve taken pretty recently, I have a video of a scene I did in class, and I have a scheduled date for a headshot photo shoot. Would that be enough to try and use to apply to an agency? I think making a demo reel will obviously help a lot with my goal. Would it be alright if I made something on my phone by myself. Or would that hurt rather than help? Since I’m a beginner would it be alright if I just got a script from a movie and get on a call with a buddy and record me acting it out?

Thanks for the help
