Knee injury (small meniscus tear)

I'm a 69 year old active female about 5'2" tall and weigh about 138 lbs. about a year ago I had a car accident. My knee was hurting and injured.

Anyone else had: • Recurrent cysts needing multiple removals? • Standard MRI missing the joint-cyst communication? • Success getting an MR arthrogram approved (or why it was denied)? • Long-term outcomes after addressing the underlying tear vs. just draining/excising the cyst?

Thanks in advance I'm very frustrated with the current diagnosis from my doctors. Seeking 2nd or even 3rd opinion.
