I finished the first book of Assassin’s Apprentice and I’m not sure whether to read the next ones.

After finishing the first book, I was left with a strange feeling, because I read it in a very short time since I felt quite immersed in the story and the narrative. I even really like the characters and find them very human.

The problem is that after an entire book I have the feeling of “not having really read anything.” More than a full book, it feels like an introduction: not much actually happens, the protagonist seems to simply go along with the events happening around him and doesn’t take real action on any of them. I don’t know, I felt a bit empty content-wise in that regard.

I wanted to ask whether the second and third books are the same in that sense, or if you would recommend reading them. Thanks!! <3
