Lone Canadian Goose

Is it normal for a Canadian Goose to be alone and not move from one area for hours? The spot is a patch of grass in a parking lot. I know they're a pain, kinda mean, and poop everywhere, but it looks so sad. It was eating the grass. If it doesn't move by tomorrow, should I see if there's anyone to reach out to about checking on it?
