Vaping is a wolf dressed as a sheep

Success Story

So, we all had this reasoning when we decided to switch from cigarettes to vaping:
- No tar? means no cancer
-No carbon monoxide? means less clogged arteries
so i can still enjoy that kick of nicotine that i always loved without those risks, right?
unfortunately, I have always felt this reasoning is too good to be true, but still I vaped for 3 years thinking this can't be worse than cigarettes.
It's true that the nicotine in vapes/gums is chemically the same as cigarettes, but it's in a different, much more concentrated form., no matter the mg level.
Recently, i started having sudden heart palpilations, even when resting, even without having any caffeine, my heart starts pounding for no reason and i feel it's going to skip a beat or fall off my chest...i panicked and went to ER, they did their tests and said my heart is perfectly healthy and there is nothing to worry about. so i went home thinking maybe it's just stress or fatigue.
The next day, the same thing happened , so i went to a different hospital this time, they did their tests and ECG scan and again, they said nothing is wrong and i am not in danger.
i then decided to stop vaping, as it was my main suspect, and after just 24 hours of quitting, the palpilations were gone like 60% , and by the 4th day, they were completely gone.
I used to smoke 30mg salt nicotine, and the problem with vaping is that it doesn't give you the instant " hit" a cigarette does, and it doesn't have an end point, so we keep puffing all the time, longing for that cigarette "hit" we used to get before.
The thing we don't realize is that vape nicotine is in concentrated form, it doesn't give you an instant hit but it accumulates in your nervous system, and takes longer to leave your system than traditional cigarettes, leaving you with a shaken weak nervous system without knowing it, so anything can shake you more than it should.
It's true that cigarettes have more damaging components, but vaping's risk is in it's appeal as a safe alternative for people, and as a cool gadget for youngsters... and still, it is not controlled and studied well, there are literally thousands and thousands of brands and types, which makes it more questionable and dangerous.
I am glad i was able to quit, and i am sharing my story so people who went through the same thing don't feel alone, and people planning to start, please don't!
