P2s/ams 2 pro multicolor printing

To start off i am completely new to this. 4th print in and decided to do multicolor. Not one multicolor object but different single color parts. Is there a way to make it print all of one color and then all of the second color? Seems pretty pointless and wasteful to print a couple layers and swap colors, print a couple layers and swap colors, and so on and so forth. But again I am completely new so maybe there is a reason for this process.
