How do you get testimonials that actually help sell your business?
One thing I’ve noticed while running my own business and working on landing pages and ads is how weak most testimonials actually are.
Customers are usually happy, but the feedback they leave is things like “Great experience, highly recommend.”
From a business and marketing standpoint, that doesn’t do much. It doesn’t explain:
– what problem you solved
– what changed for the customer
– or why someone should choose you over competitors
That creates a real operational gap for small business owners who rely on social proof to convert traffic.
I’m building a tool called Testifolio to solve this by changing how testimonials are collected. Instead of just asking for a review, it walks customers through a few structured prompts so their feedback naturally turns into something more specific and useful for marketing.
It also turns those responses into clean, ready-to-use testimonial visuals you can put on your website, landing pages, or social channels.
I’m opening a small waitlist while I finish building and refine it with real business owners:

Curious how other business owners handle this right now, do you collect testimonials through email, Google reviews, DMs, or something else?
