Force MagSafe Charging When Plugged In

Accessory

Hi folks, my car is older and the USB port for audio connectivity has very low current, generally failing to charge my phone at all.

I switched over to a MagSafe car mount which also charges and figured it would be probably charge faster, but I’ve discovered that if my iPhone is on the MagSafe mount and plugged into USB, it defaults to “charging” from the wired connection, meaning very little charging happens.

I’m wondering if there is any way to force my iPhone to use the faster MagSafe charger, or if folks have suggestions other workarounds to get the audio connectivity and the faster MagSafe charging?

The car does have Bluetooth connection but it’s only for calls.

Any help appreciated.
