Does anyone else regret adopting the pet?

I know I do regret it! My cat is fat and cute, and I love the animations but I'm still struggling to make good money, and to have to buy the cat food, to the store, every time I run out (which it's often because I'm not buying more than 10) it's making me hate to have the cat (Greta). I was thinking before that I wanted to have more. And no, no, no.
Is there a way to make your own pet food?
Same with the chicken food, I have to spend the seeds I buy to make their food, and why? Something should drop some kind of grass seed so we can make this food. Isn't it more convenient to buy it in the farm?
