Is it a bug or WiFi?

Started playing Tekken 8 again last week after a long break and I’ve noticed that sometimes when I step a move and I try to press a button my controller just won’t do anything. Almost feels like it disconnects from the PS5. I switched to my back up Dualsense and it’s still happening. Has this happened to anyone else? Btw, I’m not playing on WiFi, however, I have been accepting WiFi matches as otherwise it takes too long to find a match. Appreciate any feedback, thanks.
