Issue with data connection after passing by certain towers.

Question

Phone: Apple 8+ 256GB

This is going to sound like a weird issue, but lately my phone has been getting disconnected from the data network whenever I travel through certain parts of particular towns, and it remains unavailable on the device for a certain period of time. How long of a time, I haven’t figure out yet. Tech support offered little help and instead just pushed to use 5G phones which I refuse to do because Android OS is absolute garbage, and apple took away the home button resorting to a fake home button and gestures which I absolutely hate as they are not responsive enough. So, I am stuck using the 8+ until such time that I am absolutely forced to downgrade my screen size to use the SE3. But today is not that day. My phone works in 99% of places, it is only when I pass certain towers that I get kicked off temporarily.

My question is does anybody have any tips or tricks they may have to fix this issue, or terminology I can use to help tech support pin point this issue? I have tried most of the troubleshooting steps you can think of. I reset every setting (except for doing a full reset and not restore, I would prefer to not do this.) I tried airplane mode, shutting off each individual radio, leaving the phone off for a period of time, swapping sim cards, etc.

I have come to the conclusion that it must be something with connecting to certain towers because I can go for weeks without issues, but when I pass those towers, temporarily deactivated. Returning home does not activate it again, only a length of unknown time or a particular time like midnight possibly will get it working again.

If anybody has anyways to help further trouble shoot this issue, please let me know. The next step I am going to take is to use my other iphone 8+ I have, and drive to the towns that kick me off to determine if it is my particular phone being kicked off, or all iphone 8+ in general.
