Valentines gift for my bf who never celebrated before, but deserves everything

So walking through winners i (24F) pointed out how theyre starting to put out valentines day stuff and he (26M) mentioned that he never celebrated it before.

Short backstory is we've been together for 7 months and we're perfect for eachother and make eachother happy. His past relationship was super toxic as she manipulated him, stopped him from seeing family and playing sports, cheated many times, etc. So I get why he never celebrated it before since there clearly wasnt any love, just stress and bs

Im already gonna make him a nice dinner and just have a fun night in playing games and such since it'd be way too busy and expensive. I wanted to get him something super cute and special to show him i love him but also dont want it to be overbearing since all I said was to give me flowers.

Hes huge into sports, mainly badminton, but also loves golf, pickleball, etc. He'd also would have started his new job (as an electrician). I just dont want to get him a big expensive gift (even tho he deserves it) so he wouldnt feel like its too much and would feel bad for just giving me flowers (even tho thats all id want)
