Ex-Mo but still conservative

I’ve really enjoyed ExMo community here and most often agree completely with reasons for leaving the LDS Church ie. #1 it’s fake, so there’s that. Plus cultural damage, oppression of women, gender roles, patriarchy, “pay to play” temple, grooming of young girls & women, etc. Foundation of human trafficking, I could go on and on! The thing I don’t understand is this:

Why do so many people in this community assume, that since you are ExMo, you are also politically liberal? I find it offensive.
