I am working a job that I thought I was going to love. What do I do?
I am a 23 y/o just graduated this past May from university. I just got into Commercial Real Estate and I was working hard to achieve a career in this during university. Joining a real estate society, going to conventions/seminars, internships, etc. But now that I am almost 8 months into this career and I am beginning to dread it. I work with wonderful people but the work day to day just makes me so unfulfilled and questions all this work I put in to be here worth it. Constant excel work, cold calling and door to door just to make zero progress to my career and fulfillment (not to mention minimal pay). The combined 10,11, or 12 hour days just add on top to it. I know I may be preaching to the choir but I am just a young man trying to make a living and succeed in a career I enjoy. Im sick and tired of putting in a fake smile and telling people I enjoy what I do. Please give any advice in any way so I can get some guidance (besides family and friends).
