[US] Chase Bank - Another user has enabled apple notification on CHASE app
Hey guys, today when I opened my chase app, I believe I saw the notification of “Another user has enabled apple notification on CHASE app”, I accidentally clicked out so I only got the first few words. This is weird because I’ve never had this pop up, and no, I haven’t added a new apple ID or device, or got a new phone anywhere, which is the only answer I could find to similar post. I checked to see the devices logged in to the bank account, and the email to the account and found nothing suspicious. I have 2FA on and never got anything in the email. The only worry some is that the emails password was compromised so to speak based on Apples passwords app (was in a data leak), and I haven’t gone around to changing it till now. I didn’t see any suspicious transactions, and I changed both the passwords on the email and bank account.
This comes after a pretty concerning day, where just earlier I received a text message for a EarnIn verification code, an app i’ve never heard of or used. I ignored it, and a bit after a random number called me, a same number that called me the day before around the same time. I didn’t answer, but after searching up the name again, I saw it pop up for a last name Sinatra, and my managers last name is Sinatra and I’ve been waiting for a call to get let go from my seasonal job, so I called back and it immediately went to voicemail, so I left a message but now thinking of it, I believe it wasn’t my manger.
I’m planning on calling customer support tomorrow.
Important thing to note, the bank is connected to my dad’s phone number and email address, which I have access to, to the email. So my thing might be unrelated?
