ap research or jrotc?

im a high school junior with a 4.2 gpa. ive taken 4 aps including ap research plus other college classes and summer programs. my plan after high school is to join the air national guard or the airforce and then go to college after. right now jrotc is only available during the same period as ap research, and ive already completed one semester of ap research. i know jrotc doesnt give college benefits, but i was interested because i wanted to try something new.Would this benefit me in any way?
