Is an RG40XX H a good-enough upgrade from my Miyoo Mini Plus, given my use case?

I've owned a Miyoo Mini Plus for a while and even though I love it, some games run a little slower than I'd like to and I could probably benefit from a slightly comfier form factor.

The most demanding emulation I'd be doing is PSX games and some arcade games from the same era. I'm being realistic and not expecting to play any 6th-gen consoles, but if N64 emulation's on the table I'm happier.

I'm also curious about how alternative OS' stack up to OnionOS on Miyoo. I really like the Onion ports of different PC games and I was wondering if there's anything like that for Ambernic.
