I’m a local truck driver with a hazmat endorsement. I work long ass days and make pretty good money but with my wife being an RN and me getting older I’d figure I’d try to find a normal 9-5 job. My job is physically intense so I applied for stocking and unloading. Great interview. Very nice lady. I figured I’d take a pay cut…. Did I think I would be offered 14$ an hour? Hell no lmao. I will keep my 25$ and hour job until I drop dead. It’s no wonder my local Walmart is ALWAYS hiring. They are smoking crack. I love my local Walmart and will continue to shop there but that experience made me realize that the people who keep those behemoth stores running are very under paid!
