Being good for you

We both know how much I loved being good for you. I needed it so much. Without praise, nothing feels worthwhile. After dinner tonight I randomly went out to buy sweet treats for my family. My sister is recovering from surgery and I wanted to feel that radiant glimmer of warmth I felt whenever I was your good girl. They all smiled and thanked me, I felt whole for a few minutes.
