Employer didn't show up for the interview that SHE scheduled (and there's more ;)
An employer reached out after I applied for a position. They got back to me with a scheduler to get an interview on the calendar. Later, I was contacted that they wanted to move my interview up a week.
This morning, I was contacted and asked to move the time up by 30 minutes, and I made it work (the position was something I was really excited about). I was sent a new Zoom link, logged on at the new earlier time, and waited. After about 10 minutes, I reached out via email (the only contact I have) to say I was waiting on Zoom in case there were any glitches. Waited 10 more minutes and emailed that I'd log off and back on to see if they were using the later Zoom link. Waited a total of 35 minutes. Sent one more email stating I needed to log off and would appreciate an update on what was happening. I've heard nothing back.
This is a new one to me. I know the company; it's legitimate (not a scam job), and it's a position I'm uniquely qualified for. I was on the correct Zoom link, and I know my emails were delivered. I really prepared for this interview and rearranged my schedule at the last minute. They contacted me to make these changes and seemed very interested in meeting sooner rather than later.
It's frustrating but also bizarre. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I'm flabbergasted that no one showed up AND no one has responded to my emails to at least let me know what happened.
