Only 2 cities

Hello all, thanks in advance to our request for information. We are coming for 9 days in mid March and want to stay in just 2 cities. We'd like to see jungles, volcanoes, and spend some time at the ocean. We realize there is much more to see and are looking forward to that too. So, which 2 cities would you recommend?
