Thoughts on the bionic rebellion story arc?

I don't know if it's a hot take but I would've rather saw Sebastian and Chase become closer friends and payback for the way Adam treated him. It feels like they were kinda running out of ideas and were like remember when we did this last season. Let's do it again but with the kids. Not trying to be mean but it just felt like that and they threw out kids that could've had relationships with the mentors and could've made episodes off that like Leo with spin and adam with Bob. They could've done chase with Sebastian then Lexi with Bree
