Should I buy Burton AK used?

Hey guys, I need a new set of bibs and am currently trying to decide what to get. I have a line on a set of Burton AK cyclic bibs for $160. They have been used approx 100-150 days on the mountain, washed regularly with Grangers Performance stuff, and they look in fairly decent shape other than one leg zipper only goes down to about 2 inches from the cuff. Otherwise there is no damage.

The guy has also offered a jacket and the bibs for $290. I’m curious what you guys think, is buying used worth it when it’s been used this much? The other option is to go brand new Volcom Roan bibs, which I’m not against, but they do have worse water resistance and breathability obviously.

Would you say it’s worth it? I would wait until offseason if I could, so I could get em far cheaper, but I need new bibs now so it can’t really wait. Unless I buy something cheap for $100 and then wait for the off season.

What’s everyone’s thoughts?
