is makeup an integral part of tenshi kaiwai as it is with jirai kei? (pls read desc.)

tenshi kaiwai is probably my fav category of j-fashion, and i recently ordered some clothes for myself. but, i'm a little worried about the makeup aspect of it.

to preface: i have a disorder called mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS for short), which causes my mast cells to be overreactive to things (this is different from mastocytosis, which is an overabundance of mast cells.)

anyway, this condition has caused me to develop a fragrance, dye, AND common preservative allergy. and because of that, i have topical allergic reactions to basically any and every type of makeup. eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, concealer/powder... you name it, i most likely won't be able to use it.

i know makeup is a very vital part of jirai kei fashion, and i was wondering if it was the same for tenshi kaiwai, as it doesn't seem to be AS important (and i really hope is isn't... ’• ᴖ •` ) but i could be very wrong. any answers and points of view are appreciated! ( ◜◡◝ )
