Should I go back and get the kit lens? | X-T30 III

Hi! My local camera store had just the body in stock (with kit is on back order), and I really love 35mm, so I over the weekend just got the body with a Viltrox 35mm f/1.7. But I’m starting to wonder if I should return it and get the kit lens (13-33 mm f/3.5) because I might like having the wider option when traveling etc. I mostly take photos of my friends, indoor room details, and my pets, so 95% of the time 35mm is all I need. But I know the kit lens is ~$150 as part of the set, and is sold separately for $400, which is an insane difference. Appreciate any weigh-ins! (I’d keep the Viltrox.)
