Issue with Composition Mode

It was perfect until I clicked typewriter button, and now it's stuck at the bottom of the screen as opposed to the beautifully done mid-screen leaving a gap from the middle down. I liked it like that, but I can't figure out how to do that unless I just enter a bunch of times and then re pull it up once i've hit the bottom of those enters.

Does this make sense? I don't know, I'm just distraught, I found the composition mode a couple days ago and it's perfect and now i've ruined everything lol
