A question about Aquaphor

i'm not a super newcomer, (6 tats and counting) but i still wanted to ask. Every artist i've seen has strongly strongly discouraged using aquaphor on fresh tattoos because they've told me it pulls ink. I just use cerave but use loads of people use it.

Are my older artists being just over cautious or is there like- proof it pulls ink?
