Why is the verb agradar conjugated in this way?
“Tú me agradas mucho” Meaning “You please me a lot “ why is it not “tú me agrada mucho”
And for “yo no te agrado” meaning “I do not please you “ why is it not “yo no te agrada”
I am very confused the original context is from a tv show and the lines read “¿Es porque yo no te agrado?” “Tú meaning agradas mucho”
I thought this verb (agradar) functioned like the verb gustar does. Using an indirect object pronoun. Treating the thing liked as the gramatical subject…
Please help I am so confused
