Can I take my kids to OCIA with me?

I have an interview tomorrow to enter OCIA in February. My wife and I are very excited about starting the process. However, we're not sure what to do with our one and a half year old and 9 year old son.

Is it common at all for people to bring their kids with them to OCIA? We have no family around to help watch the kids and I don't think I could afford independent babysitting for hours every week.

I never see the catechumens bring their kids with them and I go to a large parish with almost a hundred catechumen currently in OCIA.
