Driver and passenger seats interchangeable

I have the cloth seats and my driver seat has some rips in it from belts and such as well as the bolstering loosing some of its supportiveness. Can the passenger seat be swapped over to the drivers seat? Mostly just looking at swapping the top parts but it would be cool to do the bottom as well. I couldn't find any parts on vw website to check it myself.
