I impulsively signed up for a course and I want to quit
For context, I'm not working and I haven't been for a while since I experienced severe burn out and my mental and physical health were declining dramatically. My husband and I decided I'd stay home since he makes a pretty good income and we live comfortably even without me working. I've been wanting to change careers and look for something else to focus on, seeing that my last line of work was unsuitable for my adhd. I'm a creatively inclined person, so one of the options I thought about was makeup artistry because it's a hobby of mine and I could use some knowledge I already have from what I went to school for. So, I looked up a course that would help me get certified, I loved the place and was really excited because I've heard great things they teach theather make up and prostethics. I signed up on the spot, payed the fees and now im regretting it, because I later saw the syllabus (its a one year course, and they require models to come once a week so you can learn to apply makeup on other people and not only on yourself. This has me spiraling because Im not very social, I have like 5 girlfriends total and it's giving me a lot of anxiety to try and ask them to come because i keep thinking why would they, id be taking free time away from them and I dont wanna be a burden, and even more anxiety inducing trying to ask other people that I don't know so well or even strangers. I'm pleasant enough and well liked but I've never been a people person, I don't have that many friends or big social circles, so I'm feeling right now like I made a mistake and want to bail, but im not sure if I'm blowing it out of proportion or if it's justified. Please help me out with some insight, or your experiences feeling like this and how you made it work out or if you didn't. Thanks lovely ladies.
TLDR: I signed up impulsively to a make up course that requires models and I'm a socially limited person that doesn't have many friends and hates to ask for anything let alone help, drowning in anxiety and want to quit.
