What’s the right thing?

My best friend and I work nearly the same shift and she is favored. I don’t hold it against her but I am wondering how this happens and how legal it is. We both work 5am until 2 pm every day. Her husband is gone lots. She wants to be home to be with him. They have her work eight hour and then leave. The ninth hour she take as lunch. Then she comes in the next day it automatically punched her out. Then the next day if no one notices she puts it in that she forgot to punch out for lunch. If someone noticed she puts in the “corrected” lunch retroactively pretending she ate at the right time. If no one noticed she puts that last hour as her lunch hour. She did a few times and the team lead saw what happened and ok. It even past six hours she forgot that was a problem. She went to coach who approved the meal time that was after the six hour cut off. They did for two weeks. This cannot be legal. Can I have some in put?
