How do I become better at saving money?
(22f) Now that I’m getting older I’m trying to save for a house and pay off my car, get debt free before buying a house. When I was younger I made some bad decisions on buying a brand new car when I really couldn’t afford it, maxing out my credit card every month.. which I sometimes still struggle with.
(Younger as in 1.5 years… lol)
I just want to know how to get into the mindset of saving or doing things to help me just save money.
And I really do make a lot after paying all my bills like rent, car payment, insurance, utilities etc. So it is possible to save.
But I always feel like I deserve a little reward after dealing with work and just making it through another month, like instead of cooking ordering in or eating out, buying clothes or little things for around the house, buying extra groceries because I can, and all of this stuff really does add up I’m realizing..
So as I try and do better for myself and my future, how do you guys do it? What can I do to help me save money?
