[Discussion] SGPA reduced because of not attempting the backlog exam? (3rd year, 5th semester, EC Campus)

Hey so basically my SGPA is reduced because I didn’t attempt the backlog exam, and the reduction is because my semester is evaluated out of 28 credits instead of the usual 24. It dropped from a 7.29 to a 6.25, however this has not happened the previous times I’ve chosen to not attempt the backlog exam despite paying fees for it because of conflicting schedules. Any idea why it has happened now and how exactly could I make my semester 5 transcript contain only the 24 necessary credits. There isn’t a change in the CGPA but I would like my transcript to show my SGPA for the semester with respect to the 24 credits and not the 28.
