EB-1A – Industry Tech Leader Profile | Requesting Feedback

Spoiler

Hi all, Long time lurched and first time posted . Looking for objective feedback on my EB-1A profile and which criteria make sense for a non-academic, industry tech leader.

Background (brief): • Field: Technology / Cloud / Data / AI (industry) • Role: Senior Director-level tech leader at a large U.S. enterprise • Experience: 14 years leading enterprise cloud, data, analytics platforms • Compensation: Well above industry benchmarks (~300k) • Petition: EB-1A self-petition

Criteria I’m Considering: 1. Original Contributions of Major Significance • Led enterprise-scale cloud/data initiatives with measurable cost and operational impact of $300m • Owned platform strategy, 20 metrics/OKRs, 10+ vendor evaluations, 10+ POCs • Supported by 5 independent expert letters 2. Leading or Critical Role • Senior Director role owning mission-critical platforms at a distinguished organization 3. High Salary • Base + bonus + equity significantly above peers (BLS / Glassdoor support) 4. Judging the Work of Others • Vendor/product evaluations, technical POCs, senior interviews, Gartner peer reviews, panels 5. Membership / Advisory Roles • Selective industry memberships including Forbes Cuncil and two board / advisory roles where selection is based on expertise and track record (not open enrollment)

Not claiming: publications, citations, patents. My work is featured in the media but not with my name and could bridge the gap with expert letter .

Questions: • Which 3–4 criteria tend to work best for industry EB-1A cases? • Is Original Contribution viable if impact is enterprise-wide but not publicly cited? • How does the overall profile strength looks like and what are the weakness ?
