What is one thing that your autism allows you to do that gives you an advantage over neurotypicals?
Like the title. We often get so wrapped up in the hardships we forget we have superpowers.
For me, it's stuff like the situation from today:
I was walking with my friend, pointed at a parked car and said
Me: That car has just been running.
Him: ??? How do you know that?
Me: I can smell it. Cars have a smell. And the snowflakes on the hood melt. It's still warm. Hence the smell.
Him: Why are you telling me this?
Me: I have to live with that information, and you're in my proximity. What did you expect would happen?
But anyway, sometimes my enhanced senses give me a surprising edge. In this scenario it was useless, but you have to admit, I would do numbers as an investigator lmao
