So, I'm largely eyeing something kind of mid-market bc I'm showing up immediately after work. You know, going for not super complicated literary fiction, but not one of those cartoony cover romance novels either? My recent fave reads were R. F. Kuang's Katabasis and Kikuko Tsumura's There's No Such Thing as an Easy Job. Eyeing adults' books but YA is fine if it's not one of those proper noun overload fantasy novels.
Also open to non-fiction that isn't about business or finance bc trying to have a life outside of work. My recent faves were Cue the Sun and John Romero's autobiography. Guess I'm interested in anything about history, sociology, and film/TV?
