Returning player decision paralysis

I've recently come back and ive been trying to decide what to play. Back in the old days i was aMe/N sjgnet spamming build and way befire that i was(really bad) at Dervish and Ele.

So this time around im trying to decide what to play for my first character and am stumped wit my options.

Part of me wants to Dervish since i know what im doing now, part wants to Rit since i didnt explore it much, am also considering Assassin, Ele and Ranger (im waiting on a few professions cause im going to play with a friend of mine when he buys.)

Any fun recommendations to tip the scales, i eventually want to play multiple things but want a good solo(with and without heroes) starting point to work from(and get money/mats)
