7700x vs 9600x

I know this has been asked a couple of times on here before but I haven't seen anything regarding current pricing. From what I can tell the general consensus is that the zen5 CPUs are generally not worth the price increase over zen4 but for only only $25 over the 7600x the 9600x seems worth it. That said, is the 7700x worth the extra $50 to upgrade to a ryzen 7 over the 9600x?
