Regret?

Does anyone regret divorce? I am bawling my eyes out thinking of not seeing my kids all the time …they are my world. But my husband is so mean to me and they see it, I have to apologize to them while I’m crying because of how mean he has been to me. Tonight I just told them I am so sorry they had to be born into this mess because I went through it as a kid and never ever would want to put another human through it. I am just so sad, not because I love my husband, but because I let someone hurt me so badly for so long. I’m so scared of the unknown, but this known is awful
