Could they really have saved it in the finale?

Obviously I’m annoyed about the finale and the post finale documentary that made them look like they completely fudged the last episode, but they do make it seem like they were under time and other constraints from Netflix.

But I was just thinking, could they have really tied everything up in 2 hours and 8 minutes? What would you have done if you were them? We all know the theories and a lot of them are super impressive, so I’m excited to see what ideas you guys have. Go as crazy as you want. Maybe we can pick our favorite and pretend that’s what we watched.

PS: I also feel like they put themselves in a tough position with how slow it felt like episodes 1-7 moved. Just a bizarre season.
