How long does it take for an endo referral to reach out for an appointment?

Hello! So I am not entirely sure if this is the right place to ask about this but I'd appreciate any input.

Following an ultrasound that was done after my provider found a lump on my thyroid, I was recommended to get biopsy so she referred me to an endocrinologist. This is all within Toronto Western Hospitals. She told me her office has sent the fax over last week and again this week but I still have not yet heard anything back.

Now, never had something like this done before: What is the normal turn around time before someone from the endo office would reach out?
